EM & G Firestopping
Neighborhood Lending Partners provided EM & G Firestopping $50,000 for working capital to support it's growth and expansion of it's contracts. NLP's loan also allowed EM & G Firestopping to hire 4 additional employees. EM & G Firestopping and Life Safety Consultants, LLC was established in Miami, Florida on January 30, 2013 by Norberto Pelayo, who is currently the sole Managing Member. This is a 2 year old construction company that specializes in fireproofing and firestopping of properties/commercial buildings. Fireproofing and firestopping is to protect the building and its occupants from the rapid spread of fire and smoke. EM & G confines and compartmentalizes smoke and fire to prevent the fire from spreading and meet Life Safety Code requirements. The main focus of EM & G is to provide fireproofing services to hospitals, public buildings, and general large residential and commercial buildings in South Florida with a specific focus on Miami. |
